So, the wife and I have been getting a lot of crawfish as take out lately. We have tried the following places in the last week or so:

Krazy claws
Youngs
Lt's
Crawfish time on verrot
Dax's

So far, I think my favorite for a combination of size/taste/seasoning has been Dax's. We probably pick up crawfish 2-3 per week. Are their any other spots on the SW side of town we need to try?

Wish I could add to your list, but I don't know of others besides those. I love both Krazy Klaws and Crawfish Time.

Does Morvant's boil crawfish?

I've heard a lot of good things about Dax. Definitely going to hit it up next week.

It isn't as close to your area, but I prefer the Crawfish Time on Ridge!

I haven't tried some of the places that you listed, but will definitely give them a try.

It's not on the SW side, but Chez Francois usually has some good ones. It's up the Thruway almost where I-49 begins.

Dax's again tonight and it was good again. I was all set to cook steaks, but my friends from shreveport wanted crawfish.

I see that Dax's has a new location. Where, exactly? I looked at Google maps, but I need a landmark! Please.

Dax moved south. South of Amb Caffery down Verot on the right, in a little hut. Just before the left turns to La Neuvelle.

In that little house that has been a number of things over the years, but was originally Savoie's Grocery before it was moved from the corner of Amb. and Verot, where the Chevron is?
