Tailgating Traditions

other than the traditional jambalaya, gumbo, and grilling, what is everyone's favorite cajun tailgating food? I need some ideas to change up my menu. thanks!

we do alot of wild game type dishes. turkey, rabbit, deer and so forth. chili's, sauce piquants (sp) etc etc etc

this weekend i am doing a dove, alligator and deer sausage jambalaya. its jambalaya but different than usual.

sounds awesome man. i love some wild game myself. i wish i could get my hands on some deer and ducks. fried backstrap and grilled duck breasts are my favorite.

We always cook a pig in a Cajun Microwave for the R-Kansas game.

I cooked gator at ours in 2003, making a big show about it. Have been careful ever since then-figured it was bad karma...

Try purple and gold kabobs - use yellow bellpepper, purple onions, etc.
