Got this last time just to try something very random and unfamiliar, and it was phenomenal.

I went after reading this thread again .

Got Tikka Masala and garlic naan.

It was incredible.

I believe this place changed management very recently. Unfortunate.

Went for lunch this week. Food was great but we were the only table at 12:45 and they couldn’t be bothered to refill our water.

Unfortunately business seems to be dying.

I've always wondered what #4 aka "Indian Spicy" is like.
I can enjoy “Thai spicy” but there’s something about Indian that lights me up LOL. I had to quit going to Punjabi Dhaba (as good as it is) because I’d be on the throne for days afterwards

I like the burn going down but coming back out not so much

Generally speaking no but swagat is far from fine dining as far as atmosphere

Yeah, it was originally a red roof Pizza Hut. I worked there many many moons ago

there is usually only 1 server so it's not unlikely a water glass needing a refill might go unnoticed

I did mention we were the only two customers, right? If not, my friend and I were the only two in the place. At 12:45. Not 3:00.

Wife and I have eaten here so many times I’ve lost count. Excellent food every time. Our last trip (two Friday’s ago) the food was pretty bad. Everything was bland and soupy. It was so bland I had to add salt at the table. Something I’ve never had to do at Swagat.

And yes, the service is downright terrible, but I guess that just is to be expected.

We will eat there again soon and just chalk up the poor evening to an off night. Hopefully that’s all it was.
