Yes, the outside of the container is going to be touched.

But by putting the sticker on and handling the open empty containers and stacking them on top of each other, the insides of the containers have the possibility to be contaminated before the food is placed in.

When they grab an empty container, they may put their finger INSIDE the empty container.

When they touch container A on the outside, the outside may be contaminated. Then they stack the INSIDE of container B on top of the outside of container A. Now the inside of container B may be contaminated.

When the outside bottom of container A touches the counter, then you stack container B on top, whatever is on the bottom outside of A is now on the bottom inside of B.

When they put the open container upside down on the counter, the top rim of the open container may be contaminated.

I’m reality, it happens all the time but in a food safety program, it’s a big mistake.
