Headed for a conference in St. Louis next week. Looking for suggestions on food and drink. Open to eating just about any type of food.

I like to go to The Hill for Italian. Very cool area with plenty of Italian places. Don't remember the name of the one I went to last time. I've heard Zoe's or Zia's, can't remember the name, is a good place in The Hill.

Go to Union Loafers. It's really good. I only go home a couple times a year now and I make sure to stop by every time I'm back.

Charlie Gitto’s On the Hill for sure. Great place.

Dressel’s Public House just NE of Forest Park is good.

Go check out Forest Park and the area around it. Beautiful area.

My Link

This is from my thread a couple of years ago. I also liked the Ballpark Village right by the stadium. Pretty good food and beer considering. I went for brunch everyday while the wife was in a seminar. Hope you enjoy yourself

Contrary to what most people in St. Louis believe, the place is not exactly a food lover's paradise. This is what I can tell you.

If you like Italian food then it is hard to go wrong on the Hill. There are several good restaurants. My personal favorite is Dominic's. LINK

For pub fare try the Scottish Arms. LINK

For the best in St. Louis go to Tony's. LINK
