Need a little advice.

Wife left two frozen bone in ribeyes on the counter last night. Obviously she was supposed to leave them in the fridge. We went to a wedding last night. This morning I found them at about 430 and put them in the fridge.

Do I risk cooking them?

TIA

They will be fine, were they still cool when you put them in fridge?

Yeah they were still a little chill when I put them in the fridge. They were still in the sealed plastic from the processor. Wife keeps the house real cold at night too.

They should be fine. It is recommended to leave your steaks out to come down to near room temperature prior to cooking, especially if you like rare/medium rare meat so the inside won't be cold when they are done cooking to your liking.

If they turn back in to a steer on the third day I wouldn’t eat them.
