With Christmas coming up and standing rib roast being one of the F&B favorites let's hear where the deals are. Please post prices you are seeing and what grade (select, choice or Prime), I am looking for a Prime 4-5 rib for what it is worth
I saw Leblanc's Choice (not their Chairmans reserve) for $9.99

Have you checked Costco yet? I always buy my Prime Rib and/or choice Rib Roast from there and it always turns out fantastic. I cook it on a spit.

checking this weekend, last time I was there they only had prime boneless and choice bone in, will double check this weekend. Also last year I asked COSTCO if they would cut and truss and they would not, not a deal killer as it is not too difficult but was surprised

Anyone have any ideas as to where I can get a center cut pork loin rib roast?

I would think any grocery store or butcher shop would have no problem with that

If you are looking for the ones with the bones they are hard to find. Calandro's has them every now and then and I love to cook them because it has some dark meat.
If you are looking boneless most any store has them and Sam's or Costco always have whole loins that are cheap.

Was just in Costco - had prime rib bone-in and prime deboned. Same for the Choice. Prime was 14.99 a pound, I think (forgot my glasses)

I assume these are for Christmas. Are y'all freezing them or will they still be good in the fridge for that long?
