I am pretty sure the last time I ate cheese drowning nachos was about twenty five years ago, so I didn't jump shite.
ETA this was back when you could get a beer in the student union and get "real" food and not the crap of fast food joints at the present time. The old union offerings included a steak dinner pig out for football fans on game days just for a clue.

If you can't find Rico's, try the Campbell's "Fiesta Nacho Cheese" soup in a can. It's paler in color than Rico's, but the flavor is similar, esp if you thin it with a little milk.

You can find that concession stand cheese in big cans at most large grocery stores. Definitely mexican groceries.
My current favorite queso recipe includes 1 lb. Velveeta, chopped pickled serrano peppers (amount depends on your taste), and 16 oz. can of drained diced tomatoes (not rotel). This is a little spicier than rotel+velveeta. Mix in some taco meat and it's addictive to no end.

In high school when I worked the concession stand in the dome, we used a can of nacho cheese, and then dumped a ton of jalapeno juice into it. It gave it the spice and then thinner consistency.

That cheese is a concentrate. You are supposed to add water to it to thin it out but most people add jalapeno juice to it give it a better flavor.

Rico's is sold at all Rouse's and most Walmarts.
But IMO Velveeta + Rotel is much better.

The cheapest they can find in a #10 can. Maybe from Sysco. Sysco label.

At at least 4-5 Saints games each year. Sometimes at movies and hornets games too.
Velveeta? Again Sports games I watch at home, parties etc. I made some Rotel and Velvetta New Years and also had velveeta and chilli. For the 4th we had a can of rico's.
I like nacho's.

Rico's at Sam's. They have the condensed (yellow can) and jalapeño (red can) which is ready to serve.

Do you think people who like nacho cheese eat it at that same frequency? Or are you on the lower or higher side of the norm?

I don't know.
I like putting cheddar cheese on my chips when I make them at home.
I just think the Rico's stuff is okay, I like it and I get nachos at Saint's games, and have made that rotel dip for years.
