The Blackout is outstanding. Perfect touch of sweetness to pair with a sourdough. Props to u for all of your efforts and results Rabbit.
Thanks Grandpa. Those went fast. I appreciate your support. And broke you out of the shadows of lurker to new member/poster. I dropped a card in your bag-don’t forget to check it out.
And to the other TD guys , 4 today for the support too. Breads are baking up really nice so keep coming and earning bread coupons.
Napoleon if you want starter I’ll give it to you. But I don’t deliver so you have to come get it. I’ll give it to anyone that wants it I just need a heads up to bring some with me.
Thanks again guys. This board is phenomenal with a great group of people.

The Khorasan is great bread. Good to meet you. God bless you.

If anyone is coming through Nashville, the former Director of Bread at Tartine (SF & LA) recently opened up a small corner store bakery called Mama Bread. Hands down among the best sourdough I've tasted.

Thank you and good to meet you too.
That’s absolutely my favorite bread right now. A true ancient grain with so much flavor and it just really handles well and nice to work with. It’s a large almost orange wheat berry and takes about twice as long to mill as the Red Fife or Hard White wheat which are really small comparatively. I just milled about 5000 grams tonight and will do more tomorrow for next week’s breads.
So if you like it come back again. As long as I’m eating it I will have it on the table.
It should be a great bread to bring it back into your diet.
Thanks again.

I’ve got some good Khorasan Big Wage Dave loaves and some black chocolate, cranberry and orange English muffins. Plenty of queso, smoked Gouda pimento cheese and a roasted red beet chickpea hummus.
So come early and load up for your tailgate or party.
I have about 8 containers of fresh ripe starter free to a good home if anyone wants to get one of them.

If I'm out that way one day I'll support you. I actually got two starters going right now. I found a frozen cube of yeast in my freezer from a while back.
I need to go feed it. If it doubled I'll make my first dough later.

Shoutout to everyone in this thread. Stopped by and got some muffins, a loaf and a pimento cheese.
On a personal note, loved the shop and people overall. Everyone was so nice and it restored a little bit of my faith that humanity is actually good.
Hope your mixer gets fixed soon!

Thank you for coming by and I hope you enjoy it. Keep me posted.
Was one of those the Tigerdroppings Food Board free loaf?
We had a good TD crowd today - lurkers galore. It’s like this thread is full of CIA operatives.
Bamboozles-Hope your dad likes the bread and the cricket match was good.
The regulars again I appreciate the support.
And Suntiger that’s a great compliment and comment and I for one believe it’s accurate. It really is a cool little place that’s starting to come into its own with great vendors and great people. It’s why I enjoy selling there. Well that and it’s air conditioned.
New mixer ordered so hopefully it has shipped and will be ready for next week. I’ll post an update.
This board never ceases to amaze me and I’m humbled by the support (even though I beg for it) and I truly hope the product I put out is worthy of your discerning taste. If you all like it than I’m doing it right. And that matters a lot to me.
Thanks again and keep visiting and supporting all of us.
NextChapter Coffee is in the French press now along with Angry Bears Bourbon pralines both great vendors next to me, while I watch Nussmeir throw ropes. Or throw up. One or the other.
Bearded Grandma my arse.
Yeah Bearded Grandpa-we were looking for you too.
Queso is pretty good too.

Yes indeed, wife and dad both loved it, half a loaf finished this morning, simply toasted and buttered. And very kind of you to give a BOGO to TD posters, you don't have to do it but you do, and can tell from our conversation that you have immense pride and passion for what you do and are just spreading the love, through your bread. Greatly appreciated!!
Thank you also for the starter. Am a novice at making sourdough but gonna read up on maintaining this starter and utilizing it and give you an update. Doubt it comes out like what you do but gonna try!

Won’t be there this weekend guys. Bearing out in the big mixer so had to buy a new mixer and will need to find someone around here to press a new bearing so I’ll have a backup and be able to pick up production.
I appreciate all the support and I’ll be back next Saturday. I guess an 11:00 game is the right time to have technical difficulties.
There are a few fresh starters in my fridge there if anyone wants one go grab it. They are free.

Will be at The Artist Loft tomorrow 9:00-5:00 with some great ancient grain sandwich breads, jalapeno cheddar, some big boules, a really nice light sandwich rye bread which is amazing.
Plus I tried a new one with smoked Gouda and roasted hatch peppers and it’s really good. Have a few of those and I’m sure they will go fast. Whole wheat English muffins and a great roasted beet chickpea hummus. Queso and smoked Gouda pimento cheese. Come give me a shout.

Thanks to all the TD food board “lurkers” who have become regulars and the big turnout last week.
9 TD Food Board readers, including 3 lovely ladies, last week so I hope the bread was good. I’ll be back at Artist Loft Saturday. I was doing Merry Market but a family emergency that came around made me need to be able to grab a bug-out bag and move if need be so that three day was going to suffer.
But I have some great breads proofing right now. The sun dried tomatoes, Parmesan pesto, jalapeno cheddar and the ancient grain Khorasan will be there. Also an ancient grain with bloody butcher corn loaf available and a new bloody butcher, smoked Gouda, roasted hatch pepper bread is rolling out this weekend. See how it goes over.
Also some good chili con queso for the game that you will probably have to pay extra for this week.
Come see me and introduce yourself. Buy one get one free for first time TD followers.

Will have a scratch and dent sale on these whole grain sun dried tomatoes, Parmesan and pesto loaves tomorrow. Kind of flattish. Taste great.

Thanks for sharing your experience and recommendations in the awesome thread. I’m gonna make a trip from Lafayette next weekend to come support you and buy some bread, butter spread, and hummus. Later today I plan on making a smoked Gouda, Guinness stout beer bread. Great Harvest Bread Company in Lafayette sells it during St. Patrick’s day week as it’s only seasonal. First time baking this bread as GH shared with me their baking suggestions and recipe. Looking forward to meeting you soon
