What's the price of it? I've seen it advertised. More than the Uni?

it’s a backyard smokeless fire pit with an option for a pizza cooking topper

Solo stoves are nice for no smoke but they don't put off any heat. You literally have to be right on top of it to feel the warmth.

I have a solo pizza oven

Is that what you’re taking about or some variation of the solo fire pit?

Ahhh
I see

Interesting but it looks dangerous as hell

2 things jump out to me

1. Putting your hand near An open fire could be a challenge

2.It heats from the bottom. Not sure how that impacts the toppings.

They make a deflector attachment to spread the heat and it works great. Like everything else about the solo stove though, its expensive.

Hardly.

“Low” smoke? Maybe.

We looked seriously at building an outdoor pizza oven. (We have 100+ acres of hardwoods so wood isn't a problem.) The problem is getting the interior temperature above 500F. And for only a few pizzas, it's not worth it. I have a pizza stone that I keep in the lower of my double ovens. A thirty minute preheat and with properly risen home made dough, I make an excellent pizza, not an imitation that heats the bottom of a bland dough with ingredients that haven't had the heat they should have.

update - got it in before christmas. have done pizza at least 3 times. everyone loves it. have done homemade and publix dough.

everyone prefers the home made and it’s been fun messing with dough.
