Smoking two 10lb butts ?

Kinda new at this . I'm Using an electric smoker with wood chips. What temp would you smoke for and how long ? It's a vertical smoker and one is on a higher rack than the other. Any info/tips would be appreciated.
I've kinda followed some advice thus far that I've gotten on smoking forums ive came across on Google. I've had them on 225° for around 18 hours now.. not really much bark going on now and the internal temp is sitting at 169 on both. Was thinking 20 hours would do the trick but I'm starting to think that maybe they should go longer. Would cranking the smoker on up to 275 in the home stretch be a bad idea.

Don't have an electric smoker but 275 is what I smoke them at. As far as how long, smoke it until your seasoning on the outside is set and you have a nice dark bark. That'll typically take 3-4hrs. The internal temp will usually be in the 155-165 degree range by then.
Pull it out, put it in a pan, pour you some apple juice, maybe a little bbq sauce too, and cover it tightly. Put it back in the smoker until the internal reaches 205. That will usually take another 2-3hrs. At 2 hours covered, I would start checking the internal temp.
When it's done, take it out of the pan, tent it and let it rest for an hour. Save the juices that were in the pan. After an hour, pull it apart, removing any fat and put it in a pan. Pour some of the juices in the pork, maybe a little BBQ sauce and you're good to go.

Thanks. I updated at the bottom of my OP what I've done so far and where I'm at in the process.

You can crank it up to 275. 10lb butts at 225 are gonna take forever

Don't forget to throw a towel over it after the cook for an hour.
2 10lb butts are going to take forever so its going to be a trial no matter what. Id just check on it every so often and make sure things are going well.
The next time I smoke a butt im not going to foil it after a certain temp, but let it stay on the grates increasing temperature after smoking. I do love the juices in the pan after though.

10 lb butts are pretty big! I typically do 225 degrees - about 2 hours per pound. I take them off when internal temp reaches 195-198. Wrap in foil and put in cooler for at least 1 hour. If you’re at 20 hours and still not ready, I would bump up the temp to 250-275 to get them done. I usually stick to around 6 lb butts.

I never go over 225 when smoking butts. Will it take some time? Yes, but it's worth it. Put them on at midnight and let them cook.
