I usually do a 2X2 snake in a semi circle around the grill but this time I did almost a complete circle, maybe 80% of the way around. Thing was still going even after I pulled the brisket.

Yep with my Maverick. Kept between 250-275.

TBH I've gotten to used to the Kettle I dunno how I'd feel if the process would be made easier (which the SM surely would do)
