Can't help you today, but become Facebook friends with Barbosa's Barbecue. Feed your need when he's got a pop up or event happening. You can find him very regularly at Tin Roof and Overpass Merchant as of late.

It's pretty good, especially for BR. I'd go for their ribs.
Make sure you get the mac n cheese as a side. Their BBQ sauce is the best I've had in town.

Little update...
It was ok. Got combo (2 meats, 2 sides)
Ordered pulled pork which was great. Other meat was chicken and it was flavorless. 2 sides were baked beans and tater salad. Beans tasted like they were from the can and tater salad was way over mustardy. Also got a link of greasy sausage.
Complete waste of $17. Another BR "BBQ" that has failed me.

Shoulda got brisket rather than chicken, mac n cheese instead of tator salad, and smoked boudin instead of sausage, rookie mistakes.

They were out of brisket. That was my 2nd choice for meat.

Try whole foods bbq.
I found it good and I had to eat twice to finish it. The bake beans was legit too.

don't waste your time on the brisket. i had it 2 weeks ago for the second time and i was disappointed both times. not enough smoke on the meat. as for the sides the beans are bushes straight from the can. the coleslaw is horrible. how the hell can you serve can beans and shite coleslaw!
