I just get a picture of this guy dropping his life savings to open a business...busting his arse to get things going....working 90 hr weeks...then 2 days into it a know it all jerk comes in and makes a scene trying to look like Billy badass.
I would have a hard time dealing with guys like this. In my 29 years of real estate practice, I have only lost my shite once and called somebody an a-hole during a closing. He deserved it.

Man people do stuff like that all the time. Someone is always telling me 'you know what you should do?' And I just nod and agree and smile.

My Review:
Went today and while I did not eat much I drank and had a conversation with the bartender, manager, and owner.
Overall it was a positive experience while the staff doesn't know much about the food/beer they are learning. This is not a slight for me as right now they go by what is consistently being ordered. The owner was friendly and I was not "cussed" out by anyone. The bartender it was his first day and he handled it well, not big issues although I watched him struggle on a few taps.
- Pro's
* they are working out the kinks
* they were friendly
* the mozzarella sticks were great, I ordered as an appetizer and got 8-10 which filled me up.
* staff was accommodating
- Con's
* beer list is lacking but I like that they have Envie. After that it fell off fast, owner did say that would be changing once they are established
* beer glasses you have a choice of 16oz or 22 oz, I wouldn't mind some 20oz Pint glasses or 10oz Snifters as sometimes 16oz is just too much.
* sports bar but they do not have MLBtv, went to watch the Yankees game today and could not because they did not have the channel. Ended up watching softball and Kentucky Derby stuff.
Overall I will be back again, I did not try much but I can say from the guy I was sitting by the Cowboy Burger was a hit and it is homemade. Not a premade patty, he did complain about the chips and salsa but that was his only complaint.

Keep telling them you want more craft beer and I think they will change. It is a work in progress.

Yes, the patties are handmade. I think the burgers are great.

Yeah owner basically said this is what they would have until they could get established. The manager on duty said she wanted more local options in bottles at least which is a positive sign.

I work at a bar in pville

Well I've never seen a guy at the bar at Rotolo's so I will eliminate them

I tip 20-25% depending on service and conversation

Just got back. Everything we ordered was very good, especially the Cowboy Burger. Wife ordered tacos and my daughter ordered fish sliders. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out on time and as ordered. I really like the menu and saw a lot of things I'd like to try another time. We'll be back.

Looking at some of the negative reviews, 4 it seems comes from the same group. One guy yesterday said it had a "Walmart bun and fries." Part of me wants to respond and ask him where he thinks most places get their buns and fries.
No, the fries are not hand-cut but I doubt he can tell where they came from just based on the way they looked/tasted. Another complaint about the service and his comment about a girl saying she just took the job to make a paycheck tells me the owner needs to fire her. Apparently that is the biggest slight on the place right now is the staff and will be the downfall.
I sat at the ball so I did not have to deal with the staff which is a good thing apparently from the comments. They had a few girls busting butt when I was in there though.

Appears the one chick bitching is a manager at another local restaurant. Hummm...

The husband and wife leaving 1* reviews made me laugh, they should have all their staff go and leave 5* reviews to bump up the score

I'd eat there anyway just to form my own opinion, but there's enough good reviews in this thread to make me want to try Sliders.

I'm the one that left the Facebook review about the girl looking for the paycheck. That being said, that experience was yesterday and I'm sitting at the bar right now. Figured I'd give them a chance after needing a beer on a typical Monday.
As others have said, after the Envie, the beer selection is pretty pitiful. I know others have said to ask to get other beers on tap, but if I walked in here looking for good beer, almost nothing would make me want to return for it.
Ordered a hot dog a few minutes ago, figured I'd go basic and work up from there. My beef was with the service. There's one very knowledgeable bartender here training another very un-knowledgeable one. Seems they opened with limited trained staff on short notice--not much knowledge of the menu.

owner said to me the other day that he will be looking to update the beer list. my recommendation was all local taps and keep the bud, coors, miller, in bottles.
