Santa Maria Tri Tip Marinade:

3 lbs tri-tip roast
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/3 cup red wine vinegar

Marinate for 8-24 hours. Remove from marinade one hour prior to cooking and allow to come to room temperature.
