Shrimp and Crab Stew

I made shrimp stock last week, going to make stew this week. It's been awhile since I've cooked this, can't remember if I've used onions only or the trinity. What do you use?

We boiled crabs last week and I’ll be making some stew this week as well. Hard to beat a good shrimp and crab stew with some boiled eggs. C’est Bon!!
