Will be staying at the Horseshoe for a meeting. It will be about ten of us looking for the best Shreveprt has to offer for dinner.
What you got?

I am their often on Businees and usually take clients to Bistro 6301. It's across the street from Superior grill.

check out ernests just south of downtown on market. new orleans type food.
superior has good mexican, fantastic atmosphere. superior steakhouse is upscale (think Sullivan's) and has a great steak.

If you're already at the Horseshoe, just go to Jack Binion's Steakhouse or 4 Winds Asian Cuisine. Both are better than most places in Shreveport.

i asked a friend who's husband was from shreveport where to eat and the verdict was if you want steak go to the cub...we didn't listen and tried superior steakhouse instead needless to say go there for drinks and leave and go to the cub!...we were't impressed by any of the food there it was $$$ and just okay food....if i ever go there again i must try the cub!never heard a bad thing about it except it can get busy. expect great food in a bar...go eat a burger for lunch at straun's(sp?)and have a piece of pie too!

this has to be the longest a shreveport thread has gone without Paul Allen making a post in it. One place I like is in Bossier, but dont hold that against it, its called L'italiano. I dont think i have ever had anything bad there

L'Italiano in Bossier is better than any of the restaurants mentioned and cheaper than a third of them.

Another vote for Ernest's.
I hear the Texas Street Tavern in Bossier City is good too.

Love The Cub and Superior for steaks, but Texas Street Tavern or the Silver Star BBQ in Bossier are the best. They are owned by the same guy, the BBQ's steaks are very good as well as the best ribs around!
As far as Seafood, try Ernest and be sure to start off with the Marinated Crab claws...they are the best you will ever eat!
