I would also add Counter Culture for lunch.
Zocolo for lunch or dinner (not too expensice for either)
Newk's (I know it's a chain, but I don't think they have one in BR or NO, and it's so good)

Its been sometime since I have been back to Shreveport. What is Zocolos?

Zocolo

It's a little place in the Ashley Ridge Shopping Center (Line Ave behind Outback Steakhouse)

I've been a couple of times and the food is pretty good. Used to be called Cambria, but somebody bought it and changed the name and menu. It's kind of out of the way, so I don't think about it often, but the food is usually good.
