I'm just glad you gave us a video/article to make fun of instead of trying to convince us to try making it!

When I watch those "Irish people try" youtube videos, I always wonder how bad they botch the "ethnic foods" they present to those people, especially after watching them presented with "southern" and "cajun foods"

There is no way you're fitting all that rice on a sheet pan. LOL

Looks like they threw brown rice on top and I'm always curious what they mean when they say Cajun seasoning

That whole concept is stupid. What is the advantage? You've got to cook your rice separately so you have more pots and pans to clean.

And they used a ton of creole seasoning.

Looks Legit. You need to add this to the calculator ap!

My sheet pan is 18/24. 3/4 inches deep. Can I do 12 pounds of rice? How much ketchup to add? Is one or two packs of spaghetti seasoning needed? If I am out, can I substitute Taco seasoning?

Sheetpan jambalaya is a real thing. Andcguvrn it started as a Louisiana camp food, it is technically authentic.

When my paw paw cooked, which was essentially never, he cooked a squirrel jambalaya in a sheet pan covered in foil.

It's basically just paella.

But being a poor Louisiana baw, he knew nothing about paella.

What the frick did I just watch?

Can the state of Louisiana issue a cease and desist to any and all “cooking” shows/blogs/articles/YouTube channels/etc. from using the term jambalaya in reference to what ever it is that they are trying to pass off as jambalaya?
