Second Line Brewery, Kebab, Siberia w/ pics

Had a good weekend and ventured off my go to spots for something new.

Second Line Brewery in mid city was a great way to spend Saturday evening.


The kolsch, pale ale, and IPA were good but nothing mind blowing.

The Smoked Irish Red I had was very good. Never had a beer with smoke flavors. It's one of those beers you can enjoy only 1 or 2 because it's so intense then you switch to another.

Place was also dog friendly. Owner came around introducing himself and spoiling Delbert with treats. Food trucks were serving as well


Saturday night we did Kebab. Enjoyed some pinball while we waited.



We both did the gyro and shared fries. They bake their bread in house and it showed. Super chewy and held everything together well. Dill and cucumber sauce was a great compliment with the pork (chappella farms).

The fries were also awesome. I was worried because I like mine thin and these were quite thick but super crispy.


2 gyro + large fries + 2 beers for $30. I only wished I knew how big the portions were. We could haw easily shared one.

Sunday we had the Polish food from Siberia.
Beet salad with honey dill vinegarette was our favorite. We shared the small.


Sampler with pierogi, stuffed cabbage, sausage, and braised cabbage.

Apple an asparagus stuffed crepe with more honey dill sauce. Very interesting sweet and bitter flavors. Also had another mushroom and rice stuffed cabbage.

Also had an order of fries were were a disappointment. Nothing like kebab.

Bill totaled $24 which was a steal. Quality and portions were great. Flavors were mild but I guess that's just Polish cuisine.
