Oyster Bar that recently opened in the WHD. Has anyone tried it out yet?

Its connected to the Ace Hotel, so you know its going to be "hip" (re: hipster as frick), pretty high quality and probably extremely overpriced.
But its open really late, and I can't think of a lot of places with that type of menu open late.
When I went to go eat at Josephine Estelle the hipsters were literally spilling out into the street. One of the guys working there at the door of the hotel was holding a pineapple for no apparent reason.

I wasn't really that impressed with Josephine Estelle. I went for brunch back in May. Rooftop bar is nice though.

Good info - I figured that it might be a bit overpriced given what little I've read on it. Interesting that it's open late night.

I was at a bar in Durham not too long ago and some hipster had his pockets stuffed with fruit. Must be a thing.

I've been for dinner twice and both times I thought it was pretty good. Just EXTREMELY loud. Food was good though.

I was always told it was a sign that you needed to GTFO. Something something something, it was served at the end of the meal, it was a cue to guests it was time to leave. Or perhaps it would be placed in their room if they were staying over.
I hope that's true, I've been giving girls cans of pineapple for years the next morning.

I mean the guy was just standing by the door, in his little hipsters suit, holding a pineapple. As if it was perfectly normal.

The pineapple is a symbol southern hospitality ...you hipsters must be Yankees not to know that...
And get the hell off my lawn!

Or I guess no one has paid attention to Williams-Sonoma branding.
The Ace in NYC has the John Dory, which is a fantastic seafood bar focused on raw or lightly cooked seafood. Hope Seaworthy is similar.

Had friends in Seaworthy last night. No report yet. I could eat most of the menu if they are doing it right. Nice concept .

My friend just said the oysters and cocktails were excellent.
