Looking for a good sauce to put over fried Oysters over steaks. Something with a little kick maybe? Any good ideas?

Mix worcestershire, hotsauce, and ketchup. Add desired amount of hotsauce for a more intense flavor.

garlic spread/butter
chipotle tabasco sauce
couple drops of worcestershire sauce
just a tiny squeeze of fresh lime
Melt the garlic spread/butter in a bowl
and mix in the other ingredients.

Blue cheese goes well with fried oysters and steak.
Melt some blue cheese in a small sauce pan. Whisk in some cream and reduce until a bit thick. You can add cayenne or hot sauce, is you wish. Remove from heat and whisk in chunks of butter. Sauce will be creamy. Drizzle over oysters and steak.
ETA: it would be nice if I could type correctly!

Very good.

This is the key.

Let me know how you like it. You can make it as fluid or thick as you wish. I love blue cheese on fried oysters. Uglesich's used to have an app with fried oysters and a blue cheese sauce. It was addicting.

No question, glass. I crave it, regularly, which is painful.

So great. I ate there for the first time as fourteen year old and I sorely miss the place.

I've actually been looking for their blue cheese sauce on the oysters. It's not in the first cookbook, but I'm not sure about the second book. I thought I had that one, but I can't find it.

The trout with jalapeno's is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Their oysters were only comparable to Casamento's IMO. I really miss that place.

Was that the one called Muddy Waters? If so, it's in the cookbook and pretty simple.

Yes. Ridiculously good.

Do you have the cookbook? You could make that at home very easily.

I don't. It might be a taste I would rather remember than duplicate.
