I will be in San Diego for a week attending conference in October and wanted to start planning dinner options. Any places that are must eats while in town?

I will be staying near the convention center in the Gaslamp District.

Asti is good but tried Jack & Giulios (Mission Hills area) last year and that is now my San Diego Italian Go To restaurant.
