I wouldn't order anything but a burger, sandwich or salad bar there, but I disagree that it's terrible for the price you pay.

It maybe, but my response was to the OP about the Alfredo cream sauce.

The best variation I've had was at a steak joint in San Francisco called The Brazen Head. Here's the menu item:

NEW YORK STRIP PEPPER STEAK OUR SIGNATURE DISH! 12oz. CERTIFIED ANGUS BEEF BRANDY VEAL DEMI-GLACE CREAM SAUCE
Definitely the best sauce I've ever had on a steak.

Yes.
On our second page and a lot of irrelevant posts.
We get it that the experts here don't like anything with a location in more than one city, but for crying out loud, the constant reminder is tiresome.
Now the cream sauce on steak discussion is interesting.

Ruby Tuesday is actually ok now. Turkey burger is very good. It's definitely the best of TGI Fridays/Chilis type restaurants, and without all the stupid crap on the walls. If you haven't been to one in a while, you might try again, seems to have really changed IMO. Not saying it's going to win any awards, but I've been there twice in the last 2 months and was pleasantly surprised.
The one time I went, there were people poorer than dirt who all needed baths. The tables and chairs were so gross. I know restaurants probably don't think to clean chairs but they were leather and had grease all over them from nasty people.
I felt like shite just BEING there. I got mini turkey burgers and honestly can't remember what on earth they tasted like because I was half vomiting from the atmosphere.
Maybe some people are okay with paying money to dine out among trash, but for me part of the dining experience is atmosphere and I will not waste my money in a disgusting place like that ever again.

I guess you don't eat at 90% of restaurants in New Orleans or Baton Rouge then.

One thing I respect about you is that you have substance in your posts with usable information.
The "you eat there?" stuff is what drives me crazy.
You present facts and your opinions without being condesceding. Well done.

This RT must be in Denham, I have ate at several RT (BR, FWB) but I dont remember the place looking like you described. My question is WHY did you stay and actually eat if you were so disgusted to begin with? I bet you really hate Logans Roadhouse too. Them peanut shells can get quite messy. By the way, even though I haven't got the answer to the original question, I appreciate the ole college try from everyone else who replied.

No. The one off College and Corporate. See what assuming gets you.
The food itself might have been okay, but I just remember not wanting to touch anything because the seats were leather and you could see greasy fingerprints all over them. And like I said, the people in there were pretty yuck. I feel bad even saying that, but it was true. It was like a Ryan's crowd.

WTF? Come on now.. don't be immature. Use reading comprehension. It was dirty. It isn't part of their schtick to have grease and unclean items in the restaurant. This is nowhere near the same as peanut shells. The restaurant was DIRTY and if you're okay with that, go for it. But don't make fun of someone who doesn't want to eat among filth.
I was with a group of 10 or so people. It was directly after a football game. And I left halfway through the meal.

Yep. This was sort of my original point. Lot's of people who know how to cook like crazy here, and not one answer. Easier to just be a smartass.
And for the record, I love all you Food Board folks, (even the smart asses-haha), but it does bother me that condescending is the first response.

Thank you, I kinda thought this to be the answer just wanted to know what was in the bag and if it was easy to make. LouisianaLady, I wasn't trying to be immature with any response but I wasn't asking for an opinion on your RT experience just a particular item on the menu. If your experience with RT was that bad, I would imagine that you will never go back there to eat. But thanks for your input.
