Rocksy's diner ; Fat City any fans? (besides me)

Man I am glad I found this place. Went there to try chicken and waffles a friend had mentioned. (they were excellent by the way, chicken tenders and bacon on top a waffle topped with powdered sugar and a spicy apricot jelly sauce)

Though I have been going back for the specials. The other day they had pot roast with two sides for $6.99
The mashed potatoes were excellent, and obviously real, with a hint of cream, no flakes or pearls like many other lunch counters. The roast was super tender and delicious.

Monday would be Red Beans day, they serve theirs with pulled pork, really good. I also enjoy the breakfast Po-Boys which are perfect for when I miss breakfast and want an early lunch.

I have been very impressed with this place. Discovering it was like when I discovered Sammy's Deli for the first time.
