Just drive an extra 45-50 minutes and go to the original Doe's Eat Place in Greenville.

Crystal Grill*....Both of those are very solid choices. I’d consider those the two “can’t miss” places in town. Also will add Fan & Johnny’s. Probably the best chef in town. Lusco’s is a really fun place if you’re with a group.

What kind of food are you looking for?

I have eaten a good bit at Crystal Grill which has always been solid. Decent cheap bbq is Stevens BBQ.

Steven’s BBQ is always consistent. Also a really good plate lunch. Drake’s BBQ has the best ribs in town. The chef at Mai Little China had been named a top 100 Asian chef in America for many years. Surprisingly, a damn good steak there, too

I would add Honest Abes Tamales.

A booth at Luscos is a must.

The Viking Gift Shop and the Mississippi Hift Company are great.

A drive to the BB King museum and The Crown for lunch is nice too.
