Mosca's is on the West Bank. I would take 30 minutes to get there if traffic was perfect.

If you try to go, bring cash. I believe they only accept cash. And it would be best to call ahead. They fill up fast. And they are not open for lunch.

I would echo Kenner Seafood and Truck Farm Tavern.
Both are solid. It might be easier to get into Truck Farm Tavern. Kenner Seafood is small and there can be a wait.

good recommendation but check the hours since OP didn't mention date or time.

Hours:
Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun 11am-6pm
Fri 11am-8pm
Closed Monday and Tuesday

My thoughts exactly when these posts come up. New Orleans isn't that big. As long as you aren't way uptown or in the East you're not far from the airport.
