Normally when there is a hurricane (or flood), things are offline for maybe a week, 2 tops. I can't recall where I've seen possibly a total shutdown scenario like we may see.

Wondering what the fallout is going to be for restaurants. Most can't sustain a slow week let alone several months.

With the Apple store closing, will anyone have a need to go to the Mall? Are they even legally allowed to? (250 person rule)

The restaurants and bars in Nola are going to be in bad shape. All of our major events and business conferences are cancelled for the spring.
Summer sucks for this industry. Bad times are coming.
For those that can make it, this fall is going be epic for them.

I'd agree with you that New Orleans this Fall should be great.

Wondering about Baton Rouge, which has a different dynamic altogether.

Looks like some places are going strictly take out tomorrow. Steins, Coquette, Turkey and the Wolf, Piece of Meat and I’m sure many more.

My friend said he was the ONLY table at August last Thursday night. He also said the food was great.
