Hey I'm looking to get a team and went to register and all is left is 10' x 10'. Is this the space you have to work with? My buddy has a huge pit on a 16' trailer. I'm assuming you can do the cooking somewhere else? What is the 10' x 10' you are registering for?

10x10 is the area you are allowed to sell in so to speak, your store front.... the cooking areas are behind that, so you'll have plenty of space to cook.

10x10 refers to the number of beers you need.
Therefore 100 beers

Team minimum is 250 portions, but most teams go way over that. Just dont think you can do frozen turkey bowling, that is BocaJared's move.

ETA: Charge dues. If they dont pay dues, they cant be on the team. Most team dues run about $100-300 per person, covers food, drink, tents, etc...

First year is a doozy, lots of work, but totally worth it. It is really one of the best experiences. Having a blast while raising a ton of money for a great cause.

Depends on what you are entering into competition and what you want to cook and sell.

Should get a TD team together.
enough people in the area who cook. May be fun.
Drink some craft beers, make some PB roux and Pickle pies and put out some killer BBQ from our Big Green Eggs.
