I sprinkle sage on patty sausage when frying it. Never heard of sage in red beans.

when i make my ground sausage, i add tons of sage.. can't really think of anything else i add it to?

I've seen it in game recipes from other parts of the country. Sage just isn't a spice I grew up with in brad use...correct OG...limited use in our neck of the woods.

I always start with dried beans, but I've used both red kidney beans and pinto beans. Both the wife and I prefer the pinto beans.
