I read "Kitchen Confidential" years back and enjoyed it so I recently tackled Marco Pierre White's "White Heat" and also Grant Achatz' "Life, on the Line".

I'm in between books and am open for any suggestions.

Gabrielle Hamilton - Blood Bones and Butter
Marcus Samuelson - Yes Chef
Bourdains Medium Raw is good

Non Chefs

Ruth Reichel - Garlic and Saphires (delicious is a good novel)
Michael Rhulman - the Making of a chef & the soul of a chef
Bill Buford - Heat

ETA. I really enjoyed life on the line by Achatz, his story is incredible. Recommend that book to everyone.

Agreed. That was my favorite of the ones I've read.

Miss Ella of Commander's Palace was a good book. If you don't feel like reading than you can watch a little thing on netflix about her. Pretty sure it's still on there.
