Our anniversary tradition has been for a long time and still is Maison Lacour. They have cut way back on the number of tables they serve in an evening... possibly as few as 6! Contact them about reservations far in advance.

If you can't work out a date for ML, Mansur's is a good 2nd choice. Ask to be seated in a smaller side room for a more romantic setting.

Maison Lacour. All day while you can. Best elevated cooking in BR and a personal experience.

That's a tough place to run and it won't be around forever.

How much are they charging per table to run a restaurant that only sits 6 tables a night?

I think they have more than 6 per night but usually not more than 6 at a time. My wife and I ate there a few months back. I think it our bill was $175 or so but that included alcohol.

That actually seems low for a place with that few tables

Went to ninos a few weeks ago.

Some things were very good. Their handmade gnocchi for example.

But why no handmade noodles for other stuff?

I had a seafood plate and parts of it were great (scallops and fish) but parts were not (mussels and noodles).

Another dish at our table had noodles, sauce and pan fried something. (I forget what it was). Whatever it was, it was burned on one side and the kitchen put it upside down and tried to hide it lol. This is completely ridiculous, in my opinion for a nice restaurant.

Our meal (for 2) was 200ish with tip. (Drinks, one app, salads, and main courses)

Not worth it.

We went with high hopes as it was our first time there and we were looking forward to a small setting.
