OP, I have seen it at the bigger liquor stores. There is a Big Goody Goody on 121 (Little Elm) I have seen it there.

Yea, I'm thinking of whichever one has Carolina blue on the bottle.

The carolina blue is their summer ale. It's pretty tasty.

Do you get their Local #1 and Local #2? They are belgian style but really good. Booklyn may be my favorite all around brewery....of stuff we get in Dallas. And they have a black dude as their Brewmaster. Pretty rare.

Can't believe y'all don't get the IPA. Brooklyn must figure La. is not worthy.

They're not the only ones, unfortunately.

Stroube's has it and I think Marcello's too.

I was just at whole foods stocking up. Oskar Blues Gubna DIPA is fantastic if you are a true hophead. It's $14 for a 4 pack but at 10% its like 8 beers. I'll probably work my way up to just one tonight.

How big are those cans? I assume 12 oz. Just seems funny to think about.

Yeah. But I'm pretty sure my smokestack series 4 packs were right around that. If it's as good as you say it is it's well worth it I'm sure.

I had it at Stroube's this past weekend.

Actually, the menu said "Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye IPA", but they brought me a Racer 5. So, all was well.

Their Hop Rod is supposed to be really good too. But I am with you, if you like this style (west coast style IPAs), it doesn't get any better than Racer 5.

Yea, me too. Racer 5 is the only Bear Republic beer I have tried. I hear that their whole lineup is great. I read that they are making single hop ales, but they are only available at the brewery.
