I'm just getting into beer -- what are some "must-try" beers that I can easily find in stores?

if youre in Louisiana, these are good and easily attainable at most beer stores. important thing i think is to check the dates when you are buying new beers for yourself. buying an old beer might turn you off of what would be a good beer if it wasnt sitting on the shelf for months
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Parrish Envie
Dales Pale Ale
North Coast Old Rasputin

Been seeing that Left Hand Milkstout a lot of places lately. It's one of my new favorites, but then again that is my favorite kind of beer.
Young's Chocolate Stout is good too.
All the Sam Smith's are good except for the IPA, but I don't care for IPA at all.
Although I do like Bass. While not an IPA, it is a Pale Ale. It's always been my go to and easily available.

Anything made by Stone
Anything made by Bell's
Anything made by St. Arnold
Any version of Green Flash IPA
These are all pretty easy to find and haven't had a bad beer from them in any style (Green Flash only makes IPA to my knowledge and only in Bomber bottles).

Rouge - Dead Guy
Parish - Envie
Just make sure to look for bottled dates. Fresh beer is always better.

Has there been any fresh dales around in awhile?

My current favorites are Tecate, Killians Red, Purple Haze, and Lowenbrau. Not sure what (if anything) they have in common, but it's a starting point.

Ive seen a few decent dates around. I think Albertsons was the last place I saw some good dates(less than a month).

Purple haze is a great intro beer

So if I walk into a Walmart or Albertsons I should be able to find this stuff pretty easily?
Posted on 10/18/16 at 3:25 pm to I am GLORIOUS
Albertsons would be better.

Sweetwater 420
Terrapin Rye Pale Ale
Dale's Pale Ale
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Guinness
Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
Founders All Day IPA
Bells Two Hearted Ale
Left Hand Milk Stout
Some of these are not necessarily the greatest ever, but they are decent and readily available.

I've had Guiness - didn't care for it. Too thick/dark. Felt like I was drinking a bottle of tobacco spit
