Need to grab a bite to eat during late afternoon today, anywhere between Calliope and Jackson Square. Not enough time for sit down w/table service. Front runners at the moment are Cochon Butcher or St James Cheese. What else ya got?

At Pythian now—whew, there is an air of desperation floating thru here. Nearly empty of patrons, at least two vendor slots empty, two or three others closed. Maybe it has a better vibe at lunch? Cause right now it’s a sad mall food court feeling.

It’s always like that. Even before Saints games it feels like that. People only go because they have a bar. The vendors sit around and stare at all the patrons drinking

LOL, that perfectly describes the scene!

Sorry to hear it was lame. I’ve only been for lunch during the week and it’s pretty slammed. Though, I’m not surprised to hear it’s slow at night. There has been quite a bit of turnaround amongst the vendors since they opened.

Pythian is a terrible setting. Not enough small vendors to support three full time food halls. Apparently Torres is wanting to open a third.

Auction House is a bit better, but even their vendors are lackluster.

Better to start looking for popups.
