Okay I'm sure I'll get made fun of but I enjoy an iced latte in the afternoons as opposed to more of my normal hot coffee that I drink in the mornings. However, I love convenience and fast so I don't think I would have the patience to deal with a normal espresso machine. Is there something out there that would get me a great iced latte at home without much time or hassle?

Why? Drink your coffee how you like. In the hot months of the year, I start off with a macchiato in the AM and switched to iced coffee while working.

Easiest iced coffee: get a bottle of Cool Brew (flavored, french roast, or the OG coffee & chicory in the blue bottle), squeeze up a shot, mix with cold milk. Pour over ice. Voila.

Have tried all the coffee concentrates around, and Cool Brew is still my fave.

My wife drinks iced lattes so we got the Nespresso Citiz. It has a milk froth attachment that will do it either hot or cold. Two shots of espresso, froth the milk, pour over ice. Couldn't be easier.

I've got a Nespresso pixie in my office, but OP said he didn't want to mess with espresso in the afternoon.

He said he didn't want to deal with a normal espresso machine. I interpreted that to mean he didn't want to mess with the complicated ones where you have to pour espresso, tamp it down, etc. But I could have definitely misunderstood him.

If he wants a latte but doesn't want espresso, then I don't know what to tell him. Espresso is the key component in a latte.

So I had never heard of Cool Brew before today so I found a store here that sells it and I made an iced “latte”. It was pretty damned good! Thanks for the advice!
