How many ounces per pound of peanuts do y’all use?
Figured I’d get quicker answers on here, as I’m starting it tonight and need ready by tomorrow afternoon. Been too long since I last made hot boiled peanuts, and I can’t remember how much liquid crab boil I’ve used in the past - a few ounces or a few tablespoons per pound raw green peanuts?

About 2/3 of a medium liquid crab boil bottle
1/2 jar of powdered crab boil
About 2/3 of a box of salt
Two tablespoons cayenne pepper
Boil two hours
Let soak to taste

Per pound, I would say no more than a teaspoon. You don't need much to get that flavor.
