My favorite wine is a M Plouzeau Chinon rive gauche

It’s made from Cabernet franc grapes. They sell it at Martin’s Wine Cellar in the French section. Fantastic wine. Great acidity not a popular style so it’s only 16.99. One of the best bottles with food.

Belle Gros Pinot noirs are great. They have a cheaper brand called Eluoan

Duckhorn Merlot is good.

Wife (no pics) likes Bread & Butter Pinot Noir but prefers Decoy Pinot Noir. I stick to the bourbon.

My new go-to everyday wines are the Locations lineup by David Phinney. If you haven’t tried these you’re missing out. All bottles hover around the 20$ mark; and are delicious. Find them at Alexander’s market off highland.

My favorite wine is from a little vineyard in Gaiole in Chianti called I Sodi. We've visited there several times and over the years have become friends with the owners. We were there in September and I shipped back about 4 cases of their wine. Everything from 1994 Chiani Classico to this years releases of Chianti Classico and their Super Tuscans.

Other wine types I enjoy are Pinot Noir, Barolo, Brunello, Barbaresco, Rioja and Petit Syrah. For an everyday drinker I'm more than happy with a Barbera or something on the level of 19 Crimes or the Michael David wines.

I have several dozen bottles of Cabernet and although I enjoy it it's definitely not my favorite wine.
