I don't understand how one reaches that point. It's terrifying.

What the hell is that?
I just finished binging 13 Reasons Why.

I watched 2 more episodes of 13 Reasons tonight. Read the book a couple years ago & really liked it.
600 lb life is people like this getting weight loss surgery.
It's motivating me to order some Bluetooth headphones to start running.

You got a bench press in your spare bedroom?

When you can be fully nude in the shower & don't need any parts blurred out because nothing is visible...yeah. It's uncomfortable to watch.

Yeah
Probably getting a squat rack in June when we get a new place.

The best idea for a reality series to me is film some Wal Mart
Hell a day in Wal Mart how glorious would that be?
You'd get in one show
My 600 lb Life
Cops
Beverley Hillbillies
Duck Dynasty
Fast N Loud
and a whole host of news shows because those old men that sit in McDonalds all day all they talk is news and weather.

First week of Avatar down. Gained 2 pounds
. But I expected it, 2100 cals is a lot for me. When I get to my goal I definitely need to do a period of reverse dieting.
It significantly lowered my macros because I gained.. Now they're down to..
1935cals
188p
75f
127c
Much more like what I was eating before. At least it is easier to plan high/low days with Avatar. Date night with the wife tomorrow night so gonna allot some extra macros and eat less the rest of the week.

I watch 600lb life all the time. The mental gymnastics the people go through never ceases to amaze me.
I feel like watching that show helps me be introspective about my own journey. Helps me keep my own mental gymnastics in check.

That makes sense. I have a long history of eating disorders, from starving to bulimia & overeating. I did treatment in my early 20s for bulimia, and thankfully it stuck. I've gotten more realistic with myself WRT food & eating behaviors as I've gotten older, and it's become harder for me to relate or understand the thought processes & enabler dynamics in those families.
That said, I do need to start being more appreciative of where I am today. I'm at a weight/size I would have killed to be a few years ago. Yet I'm mostly focusing on the negatives--wanting to lose more, body not bouncing back elastically, etc.
I'm not sure why I just wrote all of that. I didn't sleep enough last night, so my brain isn't functioning yet. Good morning, all!
