Anybody have a go to for buying a whole young pig? Usual source says they can’t get one at the moment. TIA

If you were looking in the Marksville/Mansura area, there are quite a few places that sell whole hogs of any size.

I called a butcher I know in the N.O. area and was told they don't know of anyone in the local area that sells whole hogs and my best bet would be to check with a slaughter house, and I know of none in the immediate area.

Have they changed their membership requirements. I know at one time to be a member you had to be a business owner with a fed. tax ID number and a buddy of mine would let me use his information to shop there, but he eventually dropped his membership.

Any Associated Grocer store can order it for you. They come frozen, so order at least a week ahead of time.
