Prince St. is good stuff - should easily become the best in BR

I'm sure it will be great for a year before it closes. BR does not have the disposable income density to support $40 pizzas. It's not enough that a bunch of us will eat there and love it. Places like this need population density to survive. BR doesn't have it.

Or the work force needed to keep the product at a consistently high level.

I think they're depending on the slice-buying lunch crowd

One just opened near me and its meh. They are expanding rapidly due to a a big investor named Lawrence Longo who is a Branding expert. He is also expanding Irv's Burgers which is an iconic place in southern cali and he teamed up with the band Kiss to sell pizza with them on the box. Prince St is just another chain now selling the NYC Pizza mystic to people in far off states.

One wonders if it will share the same short lived fate that other big name pizza chains like Paulie Gee’s of Brooklyn or Bonci of Rome did when they both closed down after less than a year in New Orleans

Might’ve been more of a location problem for those two since they both failed at the same address.
