I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on one of these and I’m trying to figure out what the total cost will be. For you kamado users, what are the accessories that you have to have

Go with whatever Rouge says. He knows this topic like the back of his hand.

Deflection plates, grid remover, high temp gloves, firebox divider, replacement gasket eventually. If you don't have a digital thermometer you may consider one of those as well.

Idk where you are buying but my buying experience from Tramontes in Baton Rouge was top notch and most helpful on price.

I love my Primo XL. I empty the ash between every smoke & never have a problem controlling temp.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

One reason I have never bought either the Primo or the Green Egg are the need for things like an ash tool that have to bought separately.

They have a version that comes with those things for $797 shipped. No taxes unless you're in California.

I scoop my ashes out of the primo with a paper cup. My divider is a scrap piece of cast iron
I’d rather be able to pick and chose my accessories rather than pay for them w the price of the grill
