If you get the instant pot just be sure to buy a samurai sword so you can whack your roast in half

It isn't fitting in that stupid appliance

I cook a chuck roast almost weekly in mine without a samurai sword. As do lots of people who aren’t retarded.

You can sear/Brown in a stovetop pressure cooker. Instapot is not special in this regard

I made the mistake of getting the 6 quart and find it's too small for a big roast. I'm sure I'll find some other uses for it eventually

Pressure cookers typically cook at 15 psig, which is 250 deg F.

Insta pots cook at 11 psig, which is 241 deg F (slower cooking time).

Cooking with either is cooking with steam, which is different than a crock pot which cooks at 212 deg F.

We cook with our pressure cooker a good bit. It's large and can cook a 10+ lb turkey. 5 lbs of Boiled peanuts in 30 min (+ cool down time).

We like cooking with it since everything comes out very tender due to the high temperature steam.

I am fully aware of the Instapots abilities. What I was saying is that you can do the same with a stovetop pressure cooker as well.

Your video is awesome though.
