Preserving Chanterelles

What's the preferred method? Saute/freeze or dry/jar. I'm short on freezer space due to all the free pandemic time I've had to fish. Does drying them cause them to lose most of their flavor? Would mostly add them to stews if dried.

Interesting. 50/50 water and vinegar then water bath?
