I like the Tommy's sauce. It's not for everyone but I like it. The problem with Tommy's, as well as every other downtown Hammond restaurant, is that it's fricking filthy. I've seen giant rats run straight through multiple downtown restaurants.

Is it neopolitan style pizza? That style often has a good bit of black on the bottoms. It isn't supposed to be ash or soot, just some burning from being on a 1000 degree rock. A lot of pizza places cook at a bit lower temp due to complaints of the "burning"

Yeah, Tommy's looks disgusting. Mariners isn't far behind and idiots around here praise that place. Last time I ate there they put imitation bacon bits on the side salad I ordered. Our Moms isn't any better after they moved to their new location.

Tacos and Beer did an amazing job remodeling the old Rotolo's location when they moved in that space.

You can follow them on Facebook or sign up for their weekly e-mail where they list the menu and locations.

They're in Gabriel's parking lot quite a bit, go to different subdivisions, etc.
