Went to a Christmas party and the caterer had goat cheese-stuffed pomodoro peppers with a balsamic reduction. So good, and I think I can replicate it. But I have no idea where to buy the peppers.

Anyone ever used these? I thought I must have just missed them when I buy produce, but google says they are Peruvian or something and everyone wants to ship them expensively.

Not sure about that but try Peppadew peppers stuffed with cream cheese mixture(you could use goat cheese. They are available in the olive bar at Rouse's stores or you can buy them in jars. They come in mild and hot.

my wife makes a similar stuffed pepper with the small red/yellow/orange sweet peppers in the bag at the grocery store. Not quite the same but pretty good

roast the pepper, stuff with goat cheese, roast again and drizzle with reduced balsamic

Well, considering that usually pomodoro refers to the sauce on a dish (pomodoro = tomato) and that "pomodoro peppers" don't exists, you could understand my confusion, jackass.

Try again. Pomodoro means tomato. Unless someone was referring to a brand name of some kind of jarred peppers?

OP, I just googled your Op and got a couple of recipes.
The pomodoro most likely referred to a tomato sauce added to one of these recipes.

Sorry, was traveling this week and ghosted this thread. I might be wrong about the name - caterer had set up before I arrived and someone else told me pomodoro. Might be why I was so confused . Peppadew is probably correct! Thanks!
