I had a pretty solid burger at Red Brick Tavern in downtown Conroe a few months back. They have a pretty decent beer list too. I can't speak for anything else on the menu, only been once.

Fajita Jacks is decent tex me with a view of the lake. Willies ice house is good for a quick lunch.
Eta: I have friends that like greek tonys pizza.
