Went to the wharf in Dana Point. Pretty cool spot to watch the boats coming in and out.

OP- it’s kinda popular but the Deck on Laguna Beach is pretty great. Food is good, and it’s beachfront.

Been to the Duke's in Malibu a few times. May have to check this one out, as well.

I would hit up El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano for lunch. The food is really good but the atmosphere and history take it to another level. Nixon used to eat there all the time. The Mission SJC is just across the street where I used to work the front gate back in my yute.
