I have to do a good bit of after hours work on the laptop a few times a month. Was wondering if there is a decent place to chill out, work from the laptop, and have a few drinks other than a coffee shop

LOL! I work in BR but literally live in the middle of nowhere (Watson). However, Watson has recently been placed on the map thanks to Petey the stop sign.

Not in BR, but that's usually what I do when traveling. It's usually nice set up because they see people every day working remote so they don't bother you, and there is usually free Wifi.

I've never done any work, but I used to go to Mahoney's to write papers. It was great because they had tables in the back and it was never very crowded. Though they closed a while back. I like Canefield Tavern for that now. There's rarely more than 3-5 people in there.
