I don’t think I’ve ever actually had a wood fired pizza, can’t really recall at the moment. But, there’s a place in downtown Sardis, MS just off I-55 called TriBecca Alley Cafe and they use a brick oven. It is ridiculously good. I think I actually like brick oven calzone better than I do the pizza. Something about that char, hell probably soot in there too, but I swear I’d eat there 2 or 3 times a week if I lived in the area. We try to time trips to Memphis to where we’ll drop in for an early dinner on the way home.

I’m a deep dish guy. I order online. Giardano’s I’ve found is the best that ships. I like it better than Lou Malnati’s

I like either. It just depends on the mood that I’m in, and if the pizza is executed well.
